The date is November 11, 2003. You have the day off. The time is 7:00 am. > Wake up You fail your stamina check, and fall back to sleep. The time is 8:00 am. > Wake up for real You stumble out of bed, step over the dirty laundry, and narrowly miss the door frame on your way to the bathroom. > Check Everquest Bazaar vendor Command not found. Please try again. > Turn on monitor The monitor slowly comes to life, displaying a view of the bazaar floor. Your merchant hasn't sold anything, since all of your prices are way too high. As Nelson would say, "Har har!" > Say "blah" in IRC Your blah is met with a chorus of "blahs" and "glorms" and moonings, showing that all is normal. You scan the previous night's chatting, seeing if anything concerning you has been said. Nothing has, as usual. > Forage Fully awake now, you head towards the fridge, and find frozen buffalo wings. You nuke them, and head back to the computers. > Check TiVo Huzzah! Several shows were saved overnight. You watch them all, while surfing the web, answering email, and playing EQ. Your multi-tasking skill increases, as does your love of TiVo. > Bake pecan pie You are missing ingredients. You go to the store to pick up what you need, then come back and bake the pie. As it is cooling, you call ES and tell her that you can cook as well as Emeril. She later emails you telling you that you'll have to cook an entire meal for her and Dad sometime. You wonder if pie and tapioca pudding counts as a meal. In the end, you decide that it does, and think of what you'll need to serve a full two course meal. > Sleep Knowing that you'll have to be up early the next day, you go to sleep at a respectable time, pausing only to finish the Morgan Primus story in the book "No Limits". You ponder more ways to keep Ilsa J. Bick from ever writing Trek fiction again, and come up with "10 broken fingers" as a possible solution. With that accomplished, your day is complete. It is dark, and you are likely to be eaten by a grue.
